  2. Allow us to edit the types of "Appointment Type" categories

    Allow providers to create their own "Appointment Type" drop-down categories rather than limiting us to the 7 options currently available.

  3. Alerts regarding patient on scheduler or intake

    have a field that office can input patient specific alerts pertaining to Billing (like balance due or account in collections) or Appointment Scheduling (like patient discharged, do not schedule) etc.
    This would be incredibly helpful to scheduling staff to have alert box pop up that indicates this type of information. This way, staff can address when client is on the phone setting up an appointment.

  4. Change SOAP note type to "No Show" if patient cancels or no-shows

    Currently, when a patient is a no show or has cancelled their appt, we can see this under the Appointment tab.
    However, when the appt is generated, it creates an encounter. As the appt is no longer valid, the dr still has to go in and sign off on this to take it out of their task list.
    Because we track these no-shows and cancellations, we do not delete them. I would like the option under the encounter to list the "Encounter Type" as a No-Show or Cancellation. (Currently I use "Letter" and put information on the no-show of cancellation…

    Hi everyone – As of 1/19/2017, we have introduced a new schedule setting to all practices that allows administrators to determine if encounters will be auto-generated for appointments marked as cancelled or no-show.

    We have also introduced a new Appointment Report that allows practices to review and filter appointments by facility, status, provider, and date, making it easier to track cancellations, no shows, and other scheduling details.

  5. Existing Appointment Alerts when scheduling

    When scheduling appt. we would like an alert to show up if the pt has an existing appt. already so they don't have several appts. pending. That would save time and appt. available.

  6. Reset Confirmation Status on Rescheduled Appointments

    When a confirmed appointment is rescheduled, the confirmation status should automatically return to the unconfirmed status.

  7. Check in Patients from the DAY schedule screen

    It would be great to have the ability to check in a patient in the DAY screen of the schedule instead of having to go to the APPOINTMENT screen. We work out of the DAY view because it better illustrates the day with the color coded appointments.

  8. Mark patient appointment as confirmed

    A status option of confirmed would be nice to note when pt. have been called to remind of appointments. Could note confirmed status for after patient is contacted

  9. Google/iPhone/Android/Outlook Calendar integration (no PHI)

    I'd like to see when I have appointments from my google calendar. No need for patient names- "Busy" is plenty of info. Seeing the visit type (follow-up, etc.) would be even better. This would be more valuable to me than any other EHR feature.

  10. Compact Schedule Printing

    The new update has changed the schedule view to be much longer, wasting lots of space and making it hard to see the entire schedule. The printed schedule is now 3 pages long as well, which wastes space and paper. We utilize the printed schedule everyday, and the small compacted 1 page schedule was what we worked with.

  11. Color Coding for Block Times

    Please bring back color coding for block times to the new EHR. Since PF doesn't allow scheduling at multiple offices, we use this to distinguish when each provider will be at which office location and prevent our patients from scheduling time slots incorrectly through Patient Fusion.

  12. Add new patient appointments directly from the chart

    I would like to be able to directly add an appointment while in the chart, without having to separately open the scheduler, and then also having to select the patient again. Why not create a link so that from the chart, can see the schedule and click a date/time from the calendar.

  13. Make Active and Inactive patients more obvious when selecting throughout the EHR

    When opening the new appointment window, active and non-active patients look the same, thus causing potential errors to occur.

    Thanks to everyone for providing your thoughts on how inactive patients should be displayed in Practice Fusion.

    As of 03/25/2016, to reduce confusion when working with patient lists, we have made it more obvious in the main Charts section when a patient is inactive.

    You will see the words “Inactive” in the patient list as well as the patient header when you are working with an inactive patient.

    Additionally, if a patient is marked as inactive, she or he will not appear in search results for appointments, messages, labs, or refills. If you would like a patient to appear in those search results for selection, you’ll need to mark the patient as Active.

  14. Show Full Appointment List for Patient

    I would like the ability to print out all of the multiple appointments that a patient has, so they can see at a glance their past and future appointments and what treatment they are getting.

  16. Hover over appointment to see Reason for Visit in Week View

  17. More options for Scheduling Blocks

    It would be helpful when doing a schedule block to have biweekly or once a month for repeat. Currently it is just set for weekly

  19. Changing Canceled Appointment Appearance

    It is confusing to see the cancelled appointment still on the schedule immediately after it's canceled. After canceling, can you either remove it from the schedule, drop it to the bottom of the list, or change the way it looks?

  20. Display preferred phone number on Scheduler

    Schedule should show home phone number in addition to mobile phone number. It should print the preferred method of contact or the only number available not just mobile numbers.
