  2. Phase out ICD-9 entirely

    We are now more than 6 months past the ICD-9-->ICD-10 transition and I don't need ICD-9 for my practice anymore. We would like for it to be removed from our daily workflow.

    Hello everyone – as of 12/5/17, ICD-9 codes have been removed from the diagnosis display in the patient Summary, encounter note, and superbill. Additionally, ICD-9 codes are hidden when viewing individual diagnosis details, though you can always expand the details to view mapped codes if needed. While you are still able to search by ICD-9 code, search results will return only the diagnosis description and ICD-10 code.

    Please note that this request is considered partially resolved as ICD-9 codes will continue to transfer over from the superbill to integrated billing systems for the time being.

  3. Print Patient Intake Forms

    We would like to have the option to print the Patient intake forms so patients can verify if their demographics are correct.

  4. Scan Insurance Cards directly into Insurance Section

    It would be great if we could scan insurance cards at check-in directly into the insurance section of the patient profile.

  5. Expand Referral Attachment Size beyond 500 KB

    We would like to be able to add attachments to referrals larger than 500KB. Most of our medical documents exceed that.

    Hello everyone – we are excited to announce that as of 7/27/17 we have removed the file size restriction for attachments on electronic referrals. Electronic referrals consist of referrals sent through the Practice Fusion network (i.e. to another verified Practice Fusion provider) or via Direct Message (i.e. if the recipient uses a different EHR system).

    Please note that attachments for faxed referrals must still be 500KB or less, so if you are sending an electronic referral and wish to exceed that file size limit, make sure you un-check the “Send by Fax” box prior to sending.

  6. Online Appointment Booking from Smartphone

    i want patient to be able to go to our website from their smartphones and book their appointments. Ipad works and computer works but smartphones do not work. There are more people doing things and want to make their appointment on the go.

  7. Merge Duplicate Patients

    Occasionally, duplicate patient records are created. We would like to have the ability to merge duplicate patients' information.

  8. Automated phone and text message appointment reminders

    It would be nice for the patient to receive a call or text for appointment reminders. It would make it easier on office staff who are too busy in a day to do appointment reminders. It also would eliminate a lot of no show appointments.

  9. Simplify Patient Fusion registration

    I have had numerous patients attempt unsuccessfully to enroll in patient fusion, even though they said they are computer savvy. The process needs simplification.

  10. Alerts regarding patient on scheduler or intake

    have a field that office can input patient specific alerts pertaining to Billing (like balance due or account in collections) or Appointment Scheduling (like patient discharged, do not schedule) etc.
    This would be incredibly helpful to scheduling staff to have alert box pop up that indicates this type of information. This way, staff can address when client is on the phone setting up an appointment.

  11. Making Practice Fusion Stylus-compatible

    Stylus pens with various apps have writing to text translation features but the various websites EMR need to be compatible with it. It would be so nice for us who love to write our notes and for patients (some how there is something more personal about writing with a patient present) if we could "write" with the stylus in our chart notes and allow the various technology already created to translate it to text.

  12. Modify or delete errant information

    I have had rare occasion where information was added to the wrong chart, either a diagnosis, prescription, or an entire note. Now it remains on the patient's record forever. For legal reasons, I know we cannot alter a record, but it would be nice if that errant information could be moved out of the existing information so that errors do not occur in reproducing this information. For example, if you print a med list or print a chart, that information goes with it and an addendum at the bottom my not be enough to prevent a consultant or other provider…

  13. Change SOAP note type to "No Show" if patient cancels or no-shows

    Currently, when a patient is a no show or has cancelled their appt, we can see this under the Appointment tab.
    However, when the appt is generated, it creates an encounter. As the appt is no longer valid, the dr still has to go in and sign off on this to take it out of their task list.
    Because we track these no-shows and cancellations, we do not delete them. I would like the option under the encounter to list the "Encounter Type" as a No-Show or Cancellation. (Currently I use "Letter" and put information on the no-show of cancellation…

    Hi everyone – As of 1/19/2017, we have introduced a new schedule setting to all practices that allows administrators to determine if encounters will be auto-generated for appointments marked as cancelled or no-show.

    We have also introduced a new Appointment Report that allows practices to review and filter appointments by facility, status, provider, and date, making it easier to track cancellations, no shows, and other scheduling details.

  14. Directory Integration

    Direct messaging is proving to be difficult when we do not have access to doctors outside PF directories. Can there be some coordination between EHRs or are PF physicians going to have to pay a HISP to have access to other doctors outside PF?

  15. Patient Preferred Pharmacy

    I would like to be able to add and update pharmacies for patients. At this time the doctor is having to do this when sending meds, it would be a great help to the doctor if the staff were able to manage the pharmacy during the intake process or prior to the doctor seeing the patient.

  16. Add Documents as main tab in patient chart

    Under CHARTS, when viewing a patient chart there are main tabs for SUMMARY, TIMELINE, and PROFILE. We frequently reference scanned documents and have to navigate too many menus just to view the list of scanned documents for a patient's clinical encounter.

    Please elevate Documents to a main tab. This will also help Quality Control in ensuring the proper documents have been signed by the patient

  17. Make Superbills available for patient viewing/printing via Patient Fusion

    At this time of year, many patients request reprints of their receipts/superbills for tax purposes, rebates, HSA/Flex reimbursements. It would be great if we could direct patient to the Patient Fusion patient portal to view/print this themselves. It would also help our MU numbers for patient portal usage percentages.

  19. Expand Practice Fusion Internationally

    I am a doctor working both in Florida and Ontario (Canada). I travel between both homes. I want to use Practice Fusion only, especially because I have phone consults with patients and can be anywhere in the world when I do. Can you support use outside of the U.S. or at least to Canadian Doctors? I frequently run into support issues when I'm in Canada because I am constantly told you do not support me meanwhile when I'm in florida you support me. So - how can we transform this? PF should be available world wide in my opinion, you…

  20. Delegating e-prescribing ability to practice staff

    Staff, other than prescribers (i.e. MAs and nurses) need to be able to send e-prescriptions in the physician's name.
