I would like to be able to add and update pharmacies for patients. At this time the doctor is having to do this when sending meds, it would be a great help to the doctor if the staff were able to manage the pharmacy during the intake process or prior to the doctor seeing the patient.909 votes
SOAP headers need to be a different color from the rest of the headers. It's difficult trying to find the title "Subjective" "Objective" " Assessment" and "Plan" since everything is scattered and written in blue.11 votes
Hello everyone. We have invested in making the SOAP note more customizable, which should help you to find these sections faster and with more accuracy.

I would like the choice to add an email address and change other demographic information at the schedule while I'm creating an appointment for a patient.34 votes
The allergies (food) list is missing a few items: coffee, corn, soybean, and egg whites. Please add these and also provide us a way to enter in allergens with free text.18 votes
Hi everyone—as of 7/17/2015, we have added these 4 food allergies to the list. Thanks for your patience.
There used to be a sheet on which you could check off multiple diagnoses. In PF, the diagnosis section can have a list 20-50 of the most common diagnoses of a practice that can be checked off individually or "select all" and then saved to the chart with one click.18 votes
As of 2/19/2016, all Practice Fusion EHR users now have the ability to manage their commonly used diagnoses in their My Dx List.

Currently the process of logging into PF and getting to a patient's phone number or email make a quick phone call is very time consuming. It would make a big difference to be able to quickly access patients' contact information as a column in the Patient List.9 votes
Hi Kory—this has been implemented in our Patient List. If you log in and go to the Charts section, you’ll see patients’ contact information in the “Contact Info” tab.
Please make "Self" be the default value in the "Relationship to Patient". Most of the time, we are granting access to the patient directly.14 votes
In January 2016, we overhauled the patient chart header, which included major updates to the PHR enrollment window.
You can read about those changes here: ttp://knowledgebase.practicefusion.com/knowledgebase/articles/484964
We would like to be able to choose which sections of a Chart Note to print. For instance, remove quality of care/screening info/from printable encounter.
This way the printable note is simple and to the point and saves paper as well.15 votes
As of 9/24/2015, you can now choose just which sections of the chart note you would like to print.
For more information on how this feature works, please read the Knowledge Base article: http://knowledgebase.practicefusion.com/knowledgebase/articles/482819-how-do-i-print-a-chart-note
You used to have an easy way for me to see the total number of active patients in my practice. I would like to have that feature back. The current way of going to reports and selecting age >0 and having to export to an excel sheet to get the number is too time consuming.203 votes
I am happy to report that you can review the number of active patients in your Practice Fusion account via the ‘Patient Import’ tile on your Practice Dashboard.
Hi. The vital sign section needs to be more prominent. The font is very faint, and you care barely see the heading for each box.22 votes
We have overhauled the way that vital signs are displayed in the chart note, which included making them more legible.

When adding an address in insurance or in patient information, we would like to be able to type the first letter of the state and have the state come up. Having to scroll down and select on is inefficient.40 votes
As of 10/27/16, you can now search for items within a drop-down menu by typing the first few letters, which will jump you directly to the desired item.
I need a way to delete the custom document types. I really like the feature of being able to make our own custom labels, but when a label gets entered by mistake, or spelled incorrectly, there needs to be the option to delete it.689 votes
You asked, we delivered: Remove custom document types
Users can now remove custom document types to more efficiently move through their workflow and to tailor the document type list to best fit changing practice needs.

It would be much easier for us to add patients from the Documents Upload section, as we're uploading documents for patients that don't yet exist.14 votes
Great news! We have released the ability to add a patient from the documents section.
Thanks for providing all of your input and requests for this feature and we’re delighted to release it.
You can learn more about this feature towards the bottom of this article:
I need a way to provide 14 results for this one test, a urinalysis. This would work better as a report with drop downs and a place to add comments.7 votes
You can add as many observations to any test that you like. You can also type in text in the result area.

It would be really helpful to have a drop down menu next to patient's name under documents menu that would include an option to send a message to staff without the need to click on patient's name and open the patient's chart. That way after reviewing the document if an action needs to be taken by clicking the drop down menu we would be able to send a message and then sign the document and move on with the next document.
Current set up requires us to click on patient's name, open the chart and generate a message...15 votes
Hi everyone. As of 6/26/2015, there is an Actions Menu in Documents where you can send a new message and create a new task. Thanks for your input here. Keep the ideas coming!
There is a new section in this Knowledge Base article that covers the Actions Menu addition: http://knowledgebase.practicefusion.com/knowledgebase/articles/483348
When i prescribe a FILM it would be good if FILM was an option in the rx form. Right now "Each" comes up which doesn't make much sense.2 votes
Hi everyone—we are happy to report that this functionality has been added to the EHR as of 5/8/2015.
You can read more about how general e-prescribing works here: http://knowledgebase.practicefusion.com/knowledgebase/articles/484230-how-do-i-send-an-erx-e-prescription
Please add the patient's email to the profile printout....it's listed as a possibility with the phone but the patient's email address does not get printed.17 votes
The patient’s email address is now printable when printing patient demographics.
The bar on the side that lists 'users, display options, appointment types' takes up too much space. There needs to be an arrow at the top you can click and collapse that option and make the schedule bigger.58 votes
Hi everyone—thank you for your patience on this one. As of 7/31/2015, we have resolved this issue.
You can read about how to work with the scheduler options side bar here: http://knowledgebase.practicefusion.com/knowledgebase/articles/482832-how-do-i-update-my-appointment-schedule
