Patient Fusion portal enhancements for urgent care
Enhancements for Urgent Care
-We have an urgent care clinic and would like to use the on-line scheduling and intake features of patient fusion.
-We advertise by the name of the clinic, and that's the way that patients usually identify with us, rather than by the name of individual practitioners.
In addition, our staff schedule is somewhat set but does change slightly week to week.
-It would be helpful if patients could search in the patient fusion portal by the name of the clinic, as well as by the name of individual practitioners.
-We would also like a seamless way to enter appointment availability for the clinic as a whole, and for each practitioner and be able to change it on a weekly or even daily basis.
For example, we have more availability during the early evening hours than in the morning.
-The on-line intake form would be much more useful if the information imported to the correct areas of the chart; e.g. insurance data to the demographics section, past medical history to the summary section etc. Currently it all imports to the subjective area of the SOAP note requiring that it be cut and pasted which is very time-consuming and subject to error.
Thanks for helping make the Practice Fusion EHR better for everyone. If you are passionate about this idea, remember you can let your colleagues know you support it by clicking the ‘Vote’ button.
The ideas with the most supporters are constantly being considered for addition to our roadmap in the future.
We a private physician practice but also have similar needs. We would love to have the online intake form information populate directly into the correct field. It is *extremely* time consuming to cut and paste it from Subjective into the appropriate field. It would be best if it appeared with a flag as "patient entered data" so that staff can verify/clarify these changes where appropriate.
We also need more flexibility with the online scheduler. We need to have some appointment times available for staff to schedule, but not for patients to schedule online. Currently all appointments available during each day are open for patients to access online.
