Collect Preferred Pharmacy from Patient in Intake Form
Would be great if patients could enter preferred pharmacy as a structured field in the intake form and have this data automatically saved to their profile in the EHR

Definitely needed. Chasing down the correct pharmacy information is a great time waster for every office. Also, as someone else mentioned, we were surprised Practice Fusion has no place to enter other important information in the Profile that we need to track such as occupation, marital status and employer.

once the pharmacy info is "in", eRX is so much easier. Having staff or patient enter the preferred pharmacy as part of demographics, beforehand, would be a big time saver in the exam room.

I would like to see the pharmacy info added through the demographic page or the summary page as well.

If the info would automatically populate in the e-prescribe form, e-prescribing would be much easier.
YES, please add an place to enter patient pharmacy on the demographics page
At the very least should be a demographic option so that staff can pre enter that instead of only at rx time

I agree, the intake staff entering in the pharmacy info would make my patient care visits better served with the patient than with searching for "which CVS it is," etc.

To a minimum....Pharmacy info should be able to be entered on the profile page by office staff and then have it autopopulate into the medications just like the demographic info for the patient is entered. Best if patients can enter it on their intake form and have it autopopulate into the medications

I concur with preferred pharmacy documentation. If one receives a refill request from a patient for a controlled substance and one phones it in, the only way to document is to print an Rx. This isn't associated with a pharmacy and if the patient later wants to know which pharmacy it was phoned to, there is no record. Same if it is a pharmacy refill request for controlled substance, you have to deny it then go to the patient and print Rx and call it in but there is no record in the patient's chart as to which pharmacy it was called to.

All fields that show on Practice Fusion profile page, etc. should have a matching field on the intake forms. I was surprised that occupation is not showing.

I think that is a great idea. Also, please give us the option to document this information in the patient demographic section with space for:
Preferred pharmacy name, address, phone, fax, email, and notes. Thank you.
