Patient Deceased Indicator

Rather than having to enter a specific Date of Death for a patient, we need the ability to just mark a patient as deceased.

It would also be helpful if the patient is marked as deceased then they would automatically be marked as inactive and not show up as an active patient.

Please add a radio button 'Deceased', which providers can click. Often Providers do not know the exact date of death.

Any updates with this....? Patients are continuing to "age" in the system despite their known deaths.

e.g. Jane Doe deceased at age 90 in June 2011, now appears alive and well and 95 in 2016 in the record :(

Need to be able to easily change the status of the patient as: Current, Deceased, Former patient, Dismissed.
At this time, we are unable to perform this function.

I agree. Sometimes we don't know the date of death. Just a general idea.
