    Yes, vital.

This is really vital. Alternately, a pop-up alerting that there is already a patient with the same name could help with preventing the creation of duplicate files.

It could me extremely helpful , a lot of time the duplicate charts both have office visit logged in (SOAP) so merging them would be the ideal way of handling it instead in orinting one out and uploading it in

The merge patient file feature would be extremely useful, as many times duplicates are made and it can be confusing

Please add the merge patient file feature!

This is a very important feature!

This is probably the best feature that can be added.
    Should be Top priority.

Would love to have this for sure!

I would think that this would be a top priority! If an insurance company calls for chart notes, and a patient has a duplicate chart, how does the insurance company obtain all of the notes. Of even more concern, how does the Dr. see all encounters if there are multiple charts? A "cut and paste" option is NOT realistic, it does not create an encounter, it placed random text into a random area.

    Extremely important and completely necessary!

    Please add this feature!

  • Mrs SARA YACKEY commented  ·

This is so necessary, when searching for a patient the system frequently returns no patient exists, if we don't clear out all previous searches in the patient lists this happens multiple times a day, then a new patient gets created and wha...lah.. duplicate records. VERY FRUSTRATING AND SO TIME CONSUMIG

it would be nice to have an option to merge 2 charts in one for the same pts with different last name

I'm in favor. Please add merge or delete option. Duplicate patients is frequent and time consuming.

  • Dr Zbigniew Cichon commented  ·

This would be a great tool, it save time in trying to keep labs into the correct chart . Please do this. It is in many hospitals and other settings.

  • Kathleen D McCarthy commented  ·

This would be less time consuming and to know that all of the patients information is in one chart rather than trying to figure out what goes where. Please put this into consideration as soon as possible.

I would like it to be a feature.
