Recording Actions taken after responding to Clinical Decision Support Alerts
What we need is an ability to see what actions were taken for each alert. This should show up (ideally we could customize these) in soaps, case reviews, etc, with the date and result of the action:
Plan populated with: mammogram ordered – date, result –date
Assessment populated with: Fall screen done date result
Assessment populated with: Depression screen done date result
Naturally this means that alerts need to be editable after a soap is signed. So the checkpoint of the alert is in the note signed off, but you can add to the alert, ie new Falls screen done, new mammogram result.
