Scan Insurance Cards directly into Insurance Section

It would be great if we could scan insurance cards at check-in directly into the insurance section of the patient profile.

section to scan in Insurance Card (front & Back)-Compatible w/DYMO Card Scanner

This would be incredibly efficient and cut paper use in our office. We're a non-profit so every little cost cutting feature helps.
    Moving forward.

This Idea should have 2 sections.
    1. section to scan in Insurance Card (front & Back)-Compatible w/DYMO Card Scanner
    2. section to scan in "Next of KIN" photo ID. Many times it is the same as the guarantor, parent & Medical Power of Attorney Decision maker.

we need the ability to scan in insurance cards, this is a must! Many other venders offer this....

This would save so much time. We use a separate billing company, so entering all of the insurance information including the address takes much time when we don't need. Especially with patients changing insurance all the time.

I agree with all. It will make registration and billing process smooth and errorless. Thank you for suggestion.

This is a critical efficiency issue for primary care.

Could there not be a place in the notes section to the right side in the PROFILE section where a scanned copy of the insurance card could be uploaded?
