English at the top of the Preferred Language List

We would like for it to be easier to enter English as the preferred language for patients. Maybe put it at the top, out of alphabetic order?

Preferred language should default to English with the option to change if desired.

Or maybe the option to to set a default language

We would like to have English as the default language. If someone practices in a foreign country or lives in an area where the predominant language is Spanish, Philipino, Thai or whatever, they should be able to make that their default language.

To customize the language list, would be handy. Rather than simply putting English at the top of the list, I suggest the order be customizable. A simply drag+drop setup to adjust the order, a new sort-order field saved in that table, and referred to when building the language selection dialogues. That way, any practice may chose their top languages.

agree, there are several simple changes that would make this work so much more smoothly

It would be nice to not have to type or even have to start to type the word "English" to pull up the preferred language. It would be wonderful if English and Spanish were the top two choices in more of a checkbox format with another checkbox for "other". This would save time when entering in patient information.
