  1. Failed Superbill Tasks

    When a bill fails on the billing service side, it takes a while for the billing service error response to register on a superbill in Practice Fusion. This is after you get a message in Practice Fusion "Bill successfully saved". However, there is no way for the PF user to know that the bill has actually failed. Actually, they have every reason to believe that the bill was successfully submitted.

    We would like to have a "Failed Superbill" task created when a superbill fails so we can monitor.

    • Send "Amount Paid" to claim on AdvancedMD

      Currently the copay in the amount paid field on the Superbill doesn't send anything to the claim on AdvancedMD. The Notes fields does send the copay to AdvancedMD, but not in the claim. It goes to a different destination on AdvancedMD, and it is really difficult to locate this information.

        Hello ebailey. We are aware of this deficiency and we have asked AdvancedMD to modify their logic to properly transmit this field across. We have shared your feedback with them so they can make a change.

      • Extend "Create Superbill Task" to other chart note types

        We would like superbills to be created for other note types. Can you add "Create Superbill Task" to chart note types other than just SOAP note?

        • Reduce keystrokes to super bill

          The new superbill is aesthetically pleasing but requires MANY more keystrokes to submit, which adds a significant amount of time over the course of billing, say, 50 notes, like I do at one sitting weekly at least. I would like to click 1x to add a procedure code (currently I have to click 3x -- 1x to open the dropdown, 1x to select the code, 1x to "add"), 1x for a diagnosis (currently 3x -- 1x to bring the dropdown, 1x for "previous diagnoses" which is the only one I ever use, 1x to close that window), and 2-3x to…

          • Option to hide historical diagnoses in Superbill diagnosis selection

            We would like the option to hide historical diagnoses on the Superbill to eliminate potential errors/confusion. And or, find a way to highlight a Primary Diagnosis in both the chart and the Superbill.

              As of January 2016, the diagnosis selector in the superbill has been improved to better delineate the difference between Encounter Diagnoses, Active Diagnoses, and Historical Diagnoses. This should make it much easier to avoid potential errors and confusion.

            • Superbill Seen By Provider

              Frontier Areas of Medical Care can have providers who see patients under the supervision of a licensed provider while they are waiting to meet the requirements for full licensure. In the chart, they must be listed as Seen by Provider, but they do not have an NPI number. The supervising provider must sign off as Rendering Provider and Billing provider.

              • Pass Guarantor, Next of Kin, and Guardian info to Kareo

                If we have a patient that is a minor, there is an area for the guarantor/parent/guardian to be posted, but it is not transferred to Kareo. This is very important, being that the patient is a minor.

                  Hi Wendy,

                  Unfortunately, Kareo does not accept these fields at the present time. We are waiting for them to accept the fields and then we will flow the data to them.

                • Multiple Seen By Providers

                  There needs to be 2 provider spaces. In our case the patients are OB. They see both Drs everytime they come in but there is only space for one Dr.

                  • Billing Fusion

                    Accessing a variety of clinics requires a unique email address for each. For a org, such as a billing service, that poses many problems and issues creating time consuming work flow and costs. Can you create a portal for users, such as billing services, to use one unique email address to access a variety of clinics under their charge? Permissions could be used to allow access from the unique provider.
