Easily Viewable Immunization Chart
I would like to see immunizations easily visible in a chart format like the CDC vaccine schedule that has ALL the vaccines listed down the left hand column and dates given in all the other columns. this format makes it easier to see all vaccines listed to determine if a child needs a vaccine or is behind. the way it is currently, you only see the vaccines the child has been given, not the full list of vaccines available so it's too easy to forget something if it's not easily visible in a table format

Immunizations on the Summary page
We would like to see the immunization history on the summary page of the patients chart. If it was under the past medical history like the family history it would be easier than having to go under another screen to see the immunizations that have been given

Immunization alerts for pediatrics
It is much easier and safer for patients and our staffs to have immunization alert/warning signals appear in immunization section to prevent over-immunization and to have safe interval for different vaccines especially for pediatrics office. We have to immunize many vaccinations for first few year of life.

Vaccine Administration Report
I would like to be able to access a report that can pull up the day's patients who received immunizations that day and who administered them. Select a specific day and pull up all the patients who were vaccinated that day. We don't use the HL7 integration yet so I like to compare what's in the state registry and make sure those vaccines are entered into PF as well.

Faster Vaccine Lot Entry
My practice needs the ability to enter more than one Vaccines in a grid format when we enter the inventory rather than entering one at a time. Most of the time, pediatric offices order and receive more than one vaccine.

Vaccine Administration Enhancements
Can there be a template or pre-filled in fields for adding vaccines? For example most vaccines are 0.5 ml and 1 dose is used from the inventory, but this information has to be entered for each vaccine, making vaccine administration time consuming

Automatically deactivate Vaccine Lot when # remaining = 0
We would like to customize our EHR so that when Vaccine inventory reaches 0, it automatically deactivates the vaccine lot.

Delegate Immunization Registry Submission to other users
In our office nurses administer the vaccines. You should provide the ability for nurses to transmit it to the State Registry, rather than requiring a physician to do it.
36 votesGreat news! As of December 17, 2015, any member of your practice may perform immunization registry submissions.

Allow for immunization synonyms and brand names in vaccine list
Even though "pneumococcal conjugate, 13 valent" is in the vaccine list, please make it more obvious that this generic name is also known as "Prevnar-13" so we can find things easier
33 votesI am happy to report that as of December 2015, brand names and synonyms make it easier to choose the correct vaccine from the list.

Immunization Report
We would like to click on a particular vaccine and see all patients that received an immunization from that vaccine lot entry.

Documentation of immunity
We should be able to document immunity to viral illness, like measles and mumps. IGG of Rubella, IGG of varicella, etc

Vaccine Inventory Enhancements
At present we can not distinguish between privately purchased or VFC (state sponsored) vaccine in Vaccine Inventory. Creating "Type" of vaccine field and column would make it much easier to select the correct vaccine.

Allow multiple facilities to register and transmit immunization files to the registry
Currently, only the primary facility can transmit immunizations to their immunization registry. Immunization registries require that all locations submit their immunizations, differentiated by a location identifier. Each facility under Practice Fusion should be able to register and transmit immunization files to their chosen registry.
27 votesAs of December 17, 2015, the PF EHR offers multi-facility support for immunization registry submissions.
You can read more about how to register multiple facilities here: http://knowledgebase.practicefusion.com/knowledgebase/articles/468496-how-do-i-set-up-an-integration-with-my-state-immun

Sort Vaccine Inventory
In vaccines inventory, the vaccines are all over the list in different places as you enter the new supply of vaccines. It would be easier if the vaccines were displayed in alphabetical order.

Post Immunizations Administered by Pharmacy back to EHR
When a pharmacy like CVS or Walgreen's gives a patient a vaccinations, i.e. Zoster, flu, pneumonia shots, they send documentation by fax. Typically, they send the type of vaccination, dose, injection site, route , Lot #,, Manufacturer, date administered, and expiration date of the vaccine. It would help us a great deal if this could be provided automatically from the pharmacy without us having to re-key the information.
19 votesHi Dr. Green,
Unfortunately, Surescripts, the nation’s e-prescribing integration network, does not provide this kind of data to flow back from pharmacies at this time. With enough support for this request, we can propose this kind of functionality to them, though.

Track Immunization Titers
Physicals for school, college and hospitals are not solely relying on vaccination records anymore.
Titers are now being required to document immunization.
We would like to be able to track titers at the patient level.

Correct naming of Tdap and DTaP
When adding a historical vaccine, I've notice two vaccines in the drop down list that don't exist and at least one common vaccine that is not listed. There no vaccines by the name or abbreviation of TDaP or DTAP. The upper and lower case of these vaccines is VERY important and has to do with dosing. Having TDaP and DTAP available in the drop down is very confusing. On the other hand, Tdap, which is commonly administered, is not on the drop down list.

Batch Immunization Entry
We follow AAP immunizations guidelines and every 2,4,6,12,15,18 etc month old child gets the same vaccines. We would like to mark all of these patients as having their immunizations administered in bulk

VFC Vaccine Requirement
The administrator of a vaccine must have their title (e.g. Mary Smith, RN) in the immunization section (not only their name) for VFC vaccine regulatory compliance.
