The Goals feature can help you manage overall health goals and trackable objectives with your patients for any identified areas of health improvement.
1. To display the Goals section on the patient Summary page, click the Go to… dropdown menu and opt to “Customize the summary.” Check the box for Goals and then select “Done customizing” to save your changes.
2. Click the (+) icon next to the Goals header to add a new patient goal. Goals must have a Start Date assigned and will be automatically marked as Active when created.
Once saved, you can click on any goal to open it and edit the goal details, change the start date, make it inactive, or delete it. Goals can be made inactive by un-checking the Active goal box or deleted by clicking Delete. Deleting a goal will remove it from the patient chart permanently.
To print patient goals, click the printer icon and opt to print All goals, Active goals, or Inactive goals.
