How do I edit a refill sent by the pharmacy?

There is not a way to edit the medication, dosage, quantity, or SIG of a refill request that is sent by a pharmacy. If you need to edit any of these - including the medication - you will need to deny the refill and create a new prescription. You are able to edit the number of approved refills when processing the refill request.

You have the option to select “Deny Refill, Script to Follow” during your refill request workflow. When the pharmacy submits a refill request, the provider can change the order by denying the refill and letting the pharmacy know that a new order is coming shortly. The provider can then update the information for the approved refill within a single workflow. View more details here.
