Can I be enabled for e-prescribing on two Practice Fusion accounts at the same time?

Note: Access to the EHR features described in this article may differ for practices who have already purchased a Practice Fusion EHR subscription plan. Please contact Practice Fusion Customer Service for additional information.

It is possible to be enabled for e-prescribing on multiple Practice Fusion accounts at the same time.

Keep in mind that Practice Fusion does not necessarily recommend using multiple e-prescribing accounts. Having multiple accounts often causes refill requests to be routed incorrectly, as pharmacists will not always choose the correct account to send back the request. For example, a refill request for a patient in one of your Practice Fusion accounts may be routed to the wrong account. In these cases you would need to deny the refill request in one account, and then send a new e-prescription from the correct account.

To set up e-prescribing on a second Practice Fusion account, you will need to complete the e-prescribing verification process within your additional Practice Fusion account.
