How do I organize templates?

You can quickly find templates that work for your specialty from our expert community, customize them for your practice and organize your library to suit your practice workflow.


To access the Template Library, you may select the Template community tile on your Practice Dashboard. You will be directed to your Template Library and the Template Community. You may also access your Template Library from your EHR Settings.


Within My templates, you may:


Search for a specific template

To search for a template, begin typing in the search bar. As you type, search results will populate (search term must be 3+ characters). You may search by Title, Description or Line item. (Note: To return to My templates after opening a template, click the Templates tab)



Sort your templates

To sort your templates, choose either "Sort alphabetically" or "Sort manually" from the drop-down menu next to the search bar.




Customize the order of your templates

To customize the order of your templates, select "Sort manually" from the drop-down menu. You may then click the 4 horizontal lines to the left of the template name to drag and drop templates to their preferred location.




Rename your templates

To rename your templates, select the desired template. Your template will then open in a new tab. Click the template name below the Details section and edit the title. Click Save in the top right hand corner.



Delete your templates

To delete your templates, select the desired template. Once the template has been opened, select the orange drop-down arrow in the top right-hand corner, then select Delete. If you choose to delete a template, you will be prompted to confirm your action.
