How do I delete or deactivate a patient?

Can I delete a patient? 
There isn't a way to delete a patient once they've been created. However, you can deactivate the patient which will effectively remove them from your list of patients.

How do I deactivate a patient?
To deactivate a patient, navigate to the patient's Profile and un-check the "Active Patient" button. Click Save in the top right corner when complete.


How can I quickly check if a chart has been made inactive?
If a patient has been made inactive, the title “(Inactive)” will be added before their name in the chart header. Additionally, all patient details in the header will appear in gray.

How do I reactivate an inactive patient?
To reactivate a patient who has been made inactive, navigate to the patient’s chart. Note: if you are not able to locate the patient’s chart in your “Charts” search, make sure you have checked the “Show Inactive” box at the top of the page.

Once you have opened the patient’s chart, navigate to the Profile tab and check the “Active Patient” box. Click Save in the top right corner when complete.
