How do I print and format prescriptions?

Practice Fusion allows you to easily print prescriptions with a variety of formatting options, depending on your state’s specific requirements. Increase speed and efficiency by learning how to customize your printing options.

Printing prescriptions
1. Select a medication from the patient’s Summary or encounter to create your order. Once you have entered the medication and prescription details, review the prescription summary and click Print Rx. (Note: If you are eRx-enabled, select the arrow next to the 'Send eRx' button to print a prescription.)

 2. On the print preview screen, you may switch between Standard, New York and Ohio formats. Your selected option will save for future printed prescriptions.
Special Notice for Ohio Prescribers: To print your prescription with Ohio formatting standards, please select Ohio from the drop-down list in the upper left-hand corner.

3. Click Print.
