How do I use medication adherence?

Medication adherence materials are now available right from your e-prescribing workflow. You can provide these education materials about newly prescribed medications to your patients so they adhere to your care plan and get back to health faster.

Select medications will automatically display a notification badge in your prescription ordering window when adherence materials are available. Click the Adherence badge to open up additional information to review with your patient, and easily print the materials for them to take home.

FAQ
Can I print these medication adherence materials from anywhere else?

Yes, you can print these from the patient’s chart and encounter notes. Locate the Print chart button in the patient’s Summary tab or the Print button in the encounter.

From the Summary tab:

From within the encounter note:

A print page will display all the items that can be printed from the chart or encounter. If  the patient has adherence materials available, you can check that box off to have them print along with them items in the chart or encounter. If no adherence materials are available it will indicate so.

Once you select print, the adherence materials will be at the end of the printed pages.
