Online Profiles and Scheduling

Traditionally, bringing in new business to your practice was costly and time-consuming. With Practice Fusion,  you can use your Patient Fusion online profile and scheduling to build your practice’s online presence and fill your schedule without taxing your staff — all for free.


Your online profile allows you to share practice details, including contact information and office hours. Additionally, with seamless scheduling linked directly in your EHR workflow,  the Patient Fusion online scheduling feature allows you to find new patients and help your existing patients quickly book their next appointment.

Patient Portal

Patient Fusion is also how your patients will access their patient portal, also known as the PHR. First, you can help increase patient engagement and allow your patients play a more active role in their own health care by enrolling them in the patient portal from their chart. Patient Fusion allows you to give patients access to their medical records at no cost, and the portals will automatically update as you add information to their charts. You can also message patients directly from your Practice Fusion account between visits.


Information available to patients in the patient portal  includes:

  • Medications, Diagnoses, Allergies & Immunizations

  • Lab tests and results

Patient Intake (Online Check-In)

You can create custom intake forms for patients to easily  complete before their visits through their patient portal and through the appointment reminder email. With the direct integration from Patient Fusion to your EHR, your staff will no longer need to manually enter the form’s responses into your EHR — the clinical information will flow directly into the patient’s chart note and their demographics will update in patient’s Profile.
