How are account settings designated?

Practice Fusion offers a variety of settings to customize your practice and individual workflows, from scheduling and tasks to charting and billing. Navigate to Settings in the top-right corner of your EHR to get started.


Below is a list of settings that can be customized per practice, user, and/or patient.


Settings that apply to the all members of your practice

  • Lab/Imaging templates (Note: templates can be shared with other members in your practice)

  • Enabling/disabling intake forms with appointment reminders

  • Scheduler color-coding** (Note: All users may choose to color-code the schedule by provider or appointment type. However, only admins or users with an edit level of Phys/MD can adjust the selected colors)

  • User Profile (Note: Only administrators may edit your Access Level or login information)
