What is the Prescription Report?

Practice Fusion’s Prescription report allows you to review and confirm a history of electronic and printed, prescriptions and refills.


To get started, select Reports from the left-hand navigation bar and click Prescription report.




Select a provider and date range for the report. The time frame selected may be as short as one day, but no more than two weeks. You may also choose to display only controlled substances. If any medication was prescribed during that time frame, you can review the following information:

  • Medication name

  • SIG

  • Dispense quantity

  • Refills

  • Patient

  • Date/time

  • Type of prescription

  • Status


If no prescriptions were documented during the selected time frame, the report will display No prescription activity for the date/time range referenced above.




After reviewing the report, you may print or export it by clicking the Actions button in the top right. Please note that prescribers who are logged into a facility corresponding to an address in Ohio will only be able to print a report that reflects prescriptions sent through the previous day, as selected in the date range. For example, if you are a prescriber logged into an account corresponding to a practice in Columbus, Ohio on February 14th and select a date range of February 10th through February 13th, you will be able to print a report for such date range. However, if you select a date range of February 10th through February 14th, you will not be able to print a report since the date range selected includes the current date (February 14th). 



Upon printing the report, you may sign and date it to confirm that you have reviewed and approved the report’s accuracy.
