As many of you know, we have deployed the ability for faxes to flow into Practice Fusion from Updox. This method of document publishing may be a positive alternative to scanning of documents.
We will leave this idea as “Acknowledged” for now.
To sign up for this service, please fill in the Updox form here http://info.updox.com/updox-practicefusion/ to create your Updox account or call an Updox representative at (614) 798-8170 ext. 1 to begin the process.

I completely agree! This is something that should become a priority in getting done! It would save our staff so much time, and lessen redundancies. Now I find documents get uploaded 2-3 times, because someone is unaware that someone else has already uploaded the file and didn't delete it out of our upload folder.

You asked, we delivered: Remove custom document types
Users can now remove custom document types to more efficiently move through their workflow and to tailor the document type list to best fit changing practice needs.

We REALLY need this feature! Especially since we are also using Updox, and when users are text searching for document type, they sometimes hit enter too fast and create a new type. This is going to end up making things MUCH more difficult in the end, especially as the clinic staff has overturn and we have to train new people. // Courtney

This needs to be done ASAP. I understand why things need to not be deleted, but it at least needs to be an option for the admin or someone with a Physician credentialing. Please make this a top priority!

We also would LOVE this. It would be very helpful to tailor the actual fields and input boxes to be things we actually need to use. For things you need to keep consistent for your reporting features just leave the same, but it would be awesome if we could actually tailor the look of the office note. Maybe even make it a different 'drop down box' option, when starting a new Encounter with a pt. It'd be great to have those drop down options for things such as Wellness Exams... it would filter in the templates needed for that encounter at one time, and make the encounter look more presentable and organized better. It would save many tedious steps in having to bring in a template for each section of the chart when you're ready for it.

You asked and we listened: Use Pinned notes to manage non-clinical reminders
Practice Fusion continues to take major steps toward updating your EHR with even more features and enhanced workflows. With Practice Fusion’s Pinned Note feature, we have made it easier for practice staff to quickly view pertinent custom details about patients before they are scheduled, before check in, or during a patient visit. A Pinned Note is the ideal place to record non-clinical information specific to an individual patient, where you can have important information readily available. Thanks you to everyone who voted and helped make the Practice Fusion EHR better for everyone. https://knowledgebase.practicefusion.com/knowledgebase/articles/1845769Courtney Surls commented
We would also like to add in an option for pt alerts. It would be alerts that pop on the pt's chart anytime you access it at first. This would help with consistency for many things nursing and clinical wise, as well as for scheduling and billing/administration reasons.

Yes! I would love to have this feature!! It is such a waste of time to have to go into each document and print.
