Would Practice Fusion consider partnering up with Medisoft?

I know a lot of doctors use Medisoft so if this is possible, our office would be thrilled! Thanks

Surgery and Hospital Consults are critical--would like to see them as new encounter types. So many doctors do surgery at surgery centers and see consults at hospitals if they are on call. Every surgical subspecialty - eg. ENT, plastics, dermatology, ophthalmology etc. all need these encounters!

    Dr Helen Lee commented  ·

Can you guys create a surgery encounter type for all surgeon out there? It's not appropriate to create an encounter type "office visit", then create a custom note type "surgery" because the surgery isn't done in the office and there's no appropriate encounter I can attached surgery meds/op notes etc to. This leaves all surgeons out there without an essential encounter type for their surgeries.

Thanks Becky—that’s the information we needed. We would like to hear if bulk superbill printing would be valuable to other users as well.

You asked and we listened: Use Pinned notes to manage non-clinical reminders
Practice Fusion continues to take major steps toward updating your EHR with even more features and enhanced workflows. With Practice Fusion’s Pinned Note feature, we have made it easier for practice staff to quickly view pertinent custom details about patients before they are scheduled, before check in, or during a patient visit. A Pinned Note is the ideal place to record non-clinical information specific to an individual patient, where you can have important information readily available. Thanks you to everyone who voted and helped make the Practice Fusion EHR better for everyone. https://knowledgebase.practicefusion.com/knowledgebase/articles/1845769

    Great suggestion.

We would like to hear from others how they’d like to see this scheduler grid be enhanced and improved.

    Partially Resolved  ·  Aliza responded

Hello everyone – as of 12/5/17, ICD-9 codes have been removed from the diagnosis display in the patient Summary, encounter note, and superbill. Additionally, ICD-9 codes are hidden when viewing individual diagnosis details, though you can always expand the details to view mapped codes if needed. While you are still able to search by ICD-9 code, search results will return only the diagnosis description and ICD-10 code.

Please note that this request is considered partially resolved as ICD-9 codes will continue to transfer over from the superbill to integrated billing systems for the time being.

    Dr Helen Lee commented  ·

Is there a way to remove the ICD-9 codes or have to option not to transfer the ICD-9 code to the billing software? Almost all major insurance companies use ICD-10 codes now, and when you have both codes, both codes kick over to advanced md and I now manually have to delete each ICD-9 code for every patient which is incredibly time consuming. There are only rare instances where ICD-9 codes are needed now.
