Hi everyone,
This is a great time to provide you all with an update of the progress we’ve made toward our longterm goal of never having to take the EHR offline for planned hardware or software upgrades.
In 2013, we had 50 scheduled downtime windows to upgrade the system.
In 2014, we had 22.
In 2015, we had 11.
In 2016, 4 months into the year, we have only had 1 downtime release.
That is the lowest number of planned downtime releases of any EHR on the market.
We appreciate your patience as we work diligently toward zero.

This concept is being discussed by the product team and we’re investigating ways on how we might be able to make this happen.
In the meantime, we are working hard at minimizing the numbers of releases that require system maintenance periods, and this year nearly half of our releases have been “up-time.” You can expect to see more up-time releases in the coming year.

Hi Deanne—we’re looking for ways to provide this information in future iterations of the summary page. It’s already a bit cluttered at this point, so we want to do it in a clean manner that doesn’t create too much data density.
In the meantime, documents can be accessed from the patient’s timeline: http://knowledgebase.practicefusion.com/knowledgebase/articles/483081-where-do-i-find-a-patient-s-chart-notes-e-scripts
