    there are hmo patients and billing patients, i will try and close the notes of the billing patients rather than the hmo patients first, therefore it would be great to see from the schedule which note is closed instead of looking at the tasks unsigned chart notes . Almost all of my notes are unsigned and it takes 4 minutes to get to the bottom of the tasks and when you click on the patient on the task and then have to come back it takes another 5 minutes, the best thing would be to see the lock sign next to the encounter in the schedule, thank you

    i know the task for unsigned chart notes is there but it would be easier just to see a lock next to the encounter on the schedule and like that we know from the same schedule which note has been closed or not instead of going back to the unsigned tasks because there is mixed with other notes of patients that never came in and an encounter was created

    I would like that the pharmacy info could be inserted into the profile of the patient and managed from there instead of only being able to see the pharmacy only when you order the medication

    As many of you know, we have deployed the ability for faxes to flow into Practice Fusion from Updox. This method of document publishing may be a positive alternative to scanning of documents.

    For security and regulatory purposes, the Practice Fusion EHR will auto-lock and require password to be unlocked after a period of idle time. Currently, this timer is set to 15 minutes because certain states require the time to be 15 minutes at minimum. We are investigating ways to improve this security feature, which may include customization in the future.

    As of September 2015, customers are able to modify the size of the text when editing sections of the chart note.

    Thanks to everyone for providing your thoughts on how inactive patients should be displayed in Practice Fusion.

    As of 03/25/2016, to reduce confusion when working with patient lists, we have made it more obvious in the main Charts section when a patient is inactive.

    You will see the words “Inactive” in the patient list as well as the patient header when you are working with an inactive patient.

    Additionally, if a patient is marked as inactive, she or he will not appear in search results for appointments, messages, labs, or refills. If you would like a patient to appear in those search results for selection, you’ll need to mark the patient as Active.
