Out of office alert or allow the ability to disable messaging for a certain provider that is out of the office. Currently you allow us disable all messaging, which does not help when only one provider is out of the office.

When adding new patients into the system an alert for a potentially making a duplicate chart would be amazing! For instance, we have had new patients cancel their new patient consults and not reschedule. Later, the patient will call back and never inform us that they have called in the past and have setup with our practice thus two accounts get created by accident.

Or implementing a feature that allows a chart merge if two accounts are created would be great also. Patient charts that are marked as Non-active continue to populate in lists when scheduling and assigning documents to charts. So if we have two charts for the same person and we have already merged them manually and marked one of them as non-active, when we schedule an appt or attach a document both names populate and there is no way to tell which account is the current one from the non-active one. Maybe creating an indication that one chart is active vs non-active could be helpful. In the mean time we have been changing the name of the non-active chart to 'duplicate' to stop this problem.

This would be very helpful to update! When our practice goes through the tasks, the list of providers that populates when "All Provider" is selected is very long and not useful! Same goes for the schedule. I really wish non-active users were hidden. If there becomes an instance where we need to use a non active user we should be able to manually find them.

This would be a huge help for our practice! We have a very large senior population and most of them do not check their emails, so our office still does reminder calls on top of the automated email reminders. Most of our patients rely on a phone call to remind them of their appointments. Especially for patients that suffer with bad memories. Please consider implementing this feature!

You asked and we listened: Use Pinned notes to manage non-clinical reminders
Practice Fusion continues to take major steps toward updating your EHR with even more features and enhanced workflows. With Practice Fusion’s Pinned Note feature, we have made it easier for practice staff to quickly view pertinent custom details about patients before they are scheduled, before check in, or during a patient visit. A Pinned Note is the ideal place to record non-clinical information specific to an individual patient, where you can have important information readily available. Thanks you to everyone who voted and helped make the Practice Fusion EHR better for everyone. https://knowledgebase.practicefusion.com/knowledgebase/articles/1845769

Hi everyone – As of 1/19/2017, we have introduced a new schedule setting to all practices that allows administrators to determine if encounters will be auto-generated for appointments marked as cancelled or no-show.

You can read more about schedule settings here: http://knowledgebase.practicefusion.com/knowledgebase/articles/482832

We have also introduced a new Appointment Report that allows practices to review and filter appointments by facility, status, provider, and date, making it easier to track cancellations, no shows, and other scheduling details.

You can read more about the new Appointment Report here:
