Hi German—unfortunately, our hands are tied a bit by how the labs send us the results reports and how they certify us for displaying the results to you. Many of them actually require that we display the results separately, without doing the merging that you are requesting.

We’ll raise this request directly to our lab partners, though. Thanks for the suggestion.

Why can't this quickly be added to the practice information section of the lab/image orders? You already have a field for the practice fax number. Just let it populate on the orders. Please! Way too much time tracking down results just to be told they didn't know where to fax it!! Please. Add to your to do list. We can't use Updox for these orders. We print them, stamp with a stamp I bought that says "Fax Results to ...." and then we fax. So inefficient. Help us.

The Chief Complaint is abbreviated on the schedule. When I hover over that appointment with my mouse, I would like to be able to read the entire comment in the chief complaint section. We currently have to open the appointment to read why the patient is coming in if the comment is too long.

Hi everyone – As of 1/19/2017, we have introduced a new schedule setting to all practices that allows administrators to determine if encounters will be auto-generated for appointments marked as cancelled or no-show.

You can read more about schedule settings here: http://knowledgebase.practicefusion.com/knowledgebase/articles/482832

We have also introduced a new Appointment Report that allows practices to review and filter appointments by facility, status, provider, and date, making it easier to track cancellations, no shows, and other scheduling details.

You can read more about the new Appointment Report here:

You asked and we listened: Use Pinned notes to manage non-clinical reminders
Practice Fusion continues to take major steps toward updating your EHR with even more features and enhanced workflows. With Practice Fusion’s Pinned Note feature, we have made it easier for practice staff to quickly view pertinent custom details about patients before they are scheduled, before check in, or during a patient visit. A Pinned Note is the ideal place to record non-clinical information specific to an individual patient, where you can have important information readily available. Thanks you to everyone who voted and helped make the Practice Fusion EHR better for everyone. https://knowledgebase.practicefusion.com/knowledgebase/articles/1845769

New patient info screen does not fill in city and state from the zip code the same way it does in the profile screen. When scheduling a new patient, have to type in city, use MOUSE to scroll and select state (please let us type a letter to select state and then tab to go to the next field).
