HAVE A WAY TO HIGHLIGHT PATIENT'S DATE OF BIRTH TO BRING ATTENTION TO PATIENT'S WITH THE SAME NAME
I am happy to report that this has been added to the EHR for our customers as of 5/29/2015. Thanks everyone for your patience as we resolved this.

Good news! As of 9/28/17 you can now add a prefix and/or suffix to the patient Profile page.
We will keep this feature request as partially resolved as we have not yet implemented the ability to search for patients by preferred name.Dr William Henderson commented
On the patient list page there should be a column after first name that indicates the patients "preferred name" and a column after the last name that has a highlighted text of "watch name" or "watch 2" for patients that have the same name
You asked and we listened: Use Pinned notes to manage non-clinical reminders
Practice Fusion continues to take major steps toward updating your EHR with even more features and enhanced workflows. With Practice Fusion’s Pinned Note feature, we have made it easier for practice staff to quickly view pertinent custom details about patients before they are scheduled, before check in, or during a patient visit. A Pinned Note is the ideal place to record non-clinical information specific to an individual patient, where you can have important information readily available. Thanks you to everyone who voted and helped make the Practice Fusion EHR better for everyone. https://knowledgebase.practicefusion.com/knowledgebase/articles/1845769
