This is a solid idea. We’re currently digging into how our current Problem List works and this is valuable input for how we may shape this feature.

How else would you like to see the Problem List evolve and improve?

Hi Faiq—are you referring to the workflow where you have multiple meds to prescribe and would like to do them all at once? If so, that is not how our bulk e-prescribing is designed. The workflow we designed bulk e-prescribing for is specifically for sending multiple meds to the same pharmacy.

Your idea is a good one, though. Would like to see if others have the same feature request.

Hi—unfortunately, these reasons are dictated to us by Surescripts, the nation’s e-prescribing network. We’ll escalate this request to them, but we are not allowed to send them reasons that are not in their canonical list.

Consistent with this idea/request: We should be able to DELETE mistakenly-selected pharmacies (to which NO eRx's have been transmitted) from a patient's record. There is no legal trail here...Just an outright mistake...and now that incorrect pharmacy remains "wrongly" active in the patient's record.

Hi everyone – As of 1/19/2017, we have introduced a new schedule setting to all practices that allows administrators to determine if encounters will be auto-generated for appointments marked as cancelled or no-show.

You can read more about schedule settings here: http://knowledgebase.practicefusion.com/knowledgebase/articles/482832

We have also introduced a new Appointment Report that allows practices to review and filter appointments by facility, status, provider, and date, making it easier to track cancellations, no shows, and other scheduling details.

You can read more about the new Appointment Report here:

You asked and we listened: Use Pinned notes to manage non-clinical reminders
Practice Fusion continues to take major steps toward updating your EHR with even more features and enhanced workflows. With Practice Fusion’s Pinned Note feature, we have made it easier for practice staff to quickly view pertinent custom details about patients before they are scheduled, before check in, or during a patient visit. A Pinned Note is the ideal place to record non-clinical information specific to an individual patient, where you can have important information readily available. Thanks you to everyone who voted and helped make the Practice Fusion EHR better for everyone. https://knowledgebase.practicefusion.com/knowledgebase/articles/1845769

    Partially Resolved  ·  Aliza responded

Hello everyone – as of 12/5/17, ICD-9 codes have been removed from the diagnosis display in the patient Summary, encounter note, and superbill. Additionally, ICD-9 codes are hidden when viewing individual diagnosis details, though you can always expand the details to view mapped codes if needed. While you are still able to search by ICD-9 code, search results will return only the diagnosis description and ICD-10 code.

Please note that this request is considered partially resolved as ICD-9 codes will continue to transfer over from the superbill to integrated billing systems for the time being.

One too many times, especially when in a hurry (and when AREN'T we) someone will create a new record for what they thought was a new patient, only to have someone else later discover that there are now TWO records for the EXACT SAME PATIENT. Sure, the first person should have taken the time to first look and see if there was already an existing record for the patient they were about to enter...but they don't (remember I said "idiot-proof") ...and now we end up with the two records for the same patient.
