    Hi Dr. Green,

Unfortunately, Surescripts, the nation’s e-prescribing integration network, does not provide this kind of data to flow back from pharmacies at this time. With enough support for this request, we can propose this kind of functionality to them, though.

    Ms Denise Hemphill commented  ·

In Northwest Iowa the pharmacies are good about faxing a note to us when they have given a vaccine. It's more paper but it works at the moment. Integration would be wonderful.

As many of you know, we have deployed the ability for faxes to flow into Practice Fusion from Updox. This method of document publishing may be a positive alternative to scanning of documents.

We will leave this idea as “Acknowledged” for now.

Hi everyone – As of 1/19/2017, we have introduced a new schedule setting to all practices that allows administrators to determine if encounters will be auto-generated for appointments marked as cancelled or no-show.

You can read more about schedule settings here: http://knowledgebase.practicefusion.com/knowledgebase/articles/482832

We have also introduced a new Appointment Report that allows practices to review and filter appointments by facility, status, provider, and date, making it easier to track cancellations, no shows, and other scheduling details.

You can read more about the new Appointment Report here:

I don't like the med list that is in the chart. It is confusing for older people and we don't need all the dates prescriptions were sent to the pharmacy on the list. I have a medication list that I use from my old chart that has (6) columns: Name/Dosage/Quantity/Frequency/Time & Purpose of Medication. I had a column for shape and color but pharmacies change wholesalers way too frequently anymore and that is confusing for the patient. Patients need something that is USABLE for them.....too much information is just confusing.

I just added an idea similar to this under the immunizations. It would be wonderful to be able to track inventory, lot #'s, expiration dates, etc in this way.

Great suggestion. We are also considering other more advanced filtering ability for the Patient Timeline.
