    Hi everyone,

    Good news! As of 9/28/17 you can now add a prefix and/or suffix to the patient Profile page.

    We will keep this feature request as partially resolved as we have not yet implemented the ability to search for patients by preferred name.

    Preferred name is really of no use unless it shows up in the blue header in the patient file.

    Adding this feature would increase use of patient portal. I would like to use this feature as well but I only have a dozen patients that have signed into their portal. Being ale to send message to patients would prompt them to use it. THIS IS A MUST HAVE FOR THIS FEATURE

    Hi everyone – As of 1/24/2017, we have released the new Appointment Report to all practices. This report allows practices to review and filter appointments by facility, status, provider, and date, making it easier to track cancellations, no shows, and other scheduling details.

    Would like to so scheduler reports showing patients seen, reschedules, cancellation, appt type, etc..

    This is a great idea. Are you thinking that you would like to enter in these alerts by hand, per patient? Or, more ideally, the insurance company would connect directly to Practice Fusion and populate the information for you automatically?

    Like the added changes to the patient header but would like to be able to customize it. Ideally for me I would like to see payer type in this field

    As of September 2015, customers are able to modify the size of the text when editing sections of the chart note.

    Hi everyone – As of 11/17/17, patients are able to attach files and hyperlinks to messages that they send to their provider from within the patient portal. When received in the EHR, these files and hyperlinks can be saved as documents to attach to the patient chart.

    Thanks to everyone for providing your thoughts on how inactive patients should be displayed in Practice Fusion.

    As of 03/25/2016, to reduce confusion when working with patient lists, we have made it more obvious in the main Charts section when a patient is inactive.

    You will see the words “Inactive” in the patient list as well as the patient header when you are working with an inactive patient.

    Additionally, if a patient is marked as inactive, she or he will not appear in search results for appointments, messages, labs, or refills. If you would like a patient to appear in those search results for selection, you’ll need to mark the patient as Active.
