I would actually like the ability to take care of (or at the very least deny and create a new Rx for) my colleagues' refill requests. We have 3 MDs in our office and we can't deny/refill each other's refill requests when they are on vacation or out of the office.

Given that you can add a new message by clicking on the + next to the messages tab in the summary, adding a similar + next to "appointments" and allowing us to schedule an appointment would be great. Of course, it will have to have some sort of way to look at the schedule to show what's available on a given date that you would choose with a specific provider.

Hi everyone, as you may have noticed, as of mid-2015, you can access Quick Preview to look at lab results and previous notes for the patient when working on a chart note.

You can learn more about how Quick Preview works here: http://knowledgebase.practicefusion.com/knowledgebase/articles/483091-how-can-i-preview-previous-encounters-and-results

Additionally, if you’re interested in viewing documents or other things that are not currently in the Quick Preview, you can vote for and comment on this idea: http://knowledgebase.practicefusion.com/forums/276361-product-ideas/suggestions/7137258-please-make-the-patient-s-documents-visible-and-ac

I think that once the actual results of lab is included in the clock icon drop down summary, it will satisfy that need.

thanks for the response here. Why can't that field auto-populate, in that case? For example, an inhaler should pre-populate to 1 canister
I've worked with several e-prescribing systems and at the very least the only thing listed in the drop down menus when choosing the units are the units that are actually available for the chosen medication (so for albuterol it would be liquid (oz or mL), tablets, Metered dose inhaler or MDI, liquid for nebulizer). It wouldn't include things like bag, bottle, box, etc, because that's not a relevant measure for that medication.

Actually I submitted this idea, and I think I actually found where it can be done already, so you can pretty much disregard this.

A flow sheet would be an ideal way to track injections of any kind: allergy shots, depo shots, injections for pain/migraine, etc.

You can do this if you have a fax server or a combination fax/printer. Just choose "fax" as your printer and put in the appropriate information. Then instead of printing it, it will fax.
It works the same with a fax server.
Obviously it would be fantastic if PF included a fax server as part of their EMR, as we don't use the referrals the way they are set up now, and we'd just prefer to fax notes with a cover letter requesting the referral.
