We receive requests for medical records for various reasons, including payor and medical legal requests. ALL records are requested which we are legally bound to provide.

    1. Can PF incorporate ability to print out the ENTIRE patient chart (labs, ALL uploaded PDF's, photos, etc., etc.), associated with the entire particular patient care), not just the one that prints out all Encounters, demos, ins., etc. that is currently active?
Current "Print Chart"; tab does not really print it out in its entirety. Documents from hospitals, images, labs, etc are considered part of the chart after all. Currently, those have to be opened up individually and printed out separately.

    2. Can PF enable CHRONOLOGICAL print-out capability for ALL documents, including the uploaded PDF's?
Current "Print Chart" action yields reverse chronological print out that is very difficult to assure every single page of a chart is included, can be counted to assure veracity of the entire chart being provided.
Charges are also dependent upon precise number of pages.

    3. Can PF enable each section to print out individually for clarity-sake?
Currently, "Print Chart" prints sequentially as one large, long file, that makes it hard to find sections.
It is also tremendously easier to review records contemporaneously for chart reviews, etc.

    Thanks.

As a surgeon, we have extensive number of our surgical society pre-printed consent forms depending upon the surgical procedure, each with it's particular descriptions, risks, benefits, and alternatives. Each consent is many pages long. Each page must be initialed, and some pages have particular line items that need to be initialed as well. The final page is signed by the surgeon and the patient and dated.

How wonderful it would be to be able to upload these into PF so the pt could sign appropriately in the respective places, and we would not have to print each page up, scan it all, and then upload it manually in to PF. It would be a nice paperless work solution, in addition to being able to have all the usual intake chart forms uploaded that pts could electronically sign as well. This would lead to a vast improvement in time management so that we could focus more on pt care, instead of clerical tasks, scanning, etc.

    Agree.

Please eliminate "Other" as the default Document Type when uploading a document. As stated above, the field in old PF was blank, we typed in a letter and only those options that started with that letter would populate, and we could choose what we wanted. As it stands now, we have to first erase the "Other" and then start typing in the desired option. Extra step. If you don't erase "Other" completely, a big typo occurs that sometimes makes it into the document if you are not careful.

Suggestion. Eliminate "Other" as the default Document Type and leave it blank. Allow auto population per the first one letter that is filled in (R for Radiology or Request for .., and remove all the rest of the options that just happen to have an "R" in the word, e.g., Authorization, Clinic Paperwork, etc.).

Enable the arrow keys to be continuously functional so when the R's or whatever first or subsequent letters populate as options, we can keyboard to our selection quickly, instead of having to click it. Do not allow keyboarding arrows to time out, as in when I get to the end of the list, I cannot use the arrow keys anymore to go up or down the list to make a selection because they timed out, and I have to start all over again by either erasing the "Other" that reappears and retyping the "R" or whatever letter, or typing in a second letter to activate the arrows to scroll again.

Agree. The columns in the Documents view are too narrow (pending or signed, the first window that opens at clicking Documents, not the window that opens when individual document is clicked). The comments column is the one that has the info we quickly scan over to identify which particular document we need.

Suggestion is to allow the user to be able to make each column more narrow or wider per the individual need. Enabling adjustability in ALL the columns, and enabling that view to be retained/memorized so that we do not have to reset it each time we re-open the documents section (or any columns in any other section of PF fro that matter) will make using PF a lot easier.

It would be phenomenal to have refresh button located in each window we are working on as a tab on the top, so that the information can be viewed in real time, not just when PF servers refresh at their rate.

A lot of info gets lost or duplicated, or their is a huge lag time between knowing what one portion of the practice is doing for the pt, because we cannot see what is happening as we post.

If you are going to add primary doc in pt profile, please be sure to add enough fields for prim doc, referring doc, and other pertinent doc(s). As a specialist, I need to be able to see primary doc and referring doc, and any other doc involved in pt care, all of who are important to continuity of care. The prim doc may not be the one who referred the pt to me.

To make it simple, add the field as a plain text field so we can fill it in as needed.

Prefer to continue to allow entire SS# storage, as insurance companies often ask for entire number to verify pt, when we call regarding coverage issues and questions.

Please add stop date beside the start date on the meds window in the chart note, kind of like you already have in the profile.

It would be VERY nice to incorporate many of the features already noted by just hovering the mouse over the meds area to get the big picture view for each Rx, instead of having top open up each drug.
