There are so many messages that we need to stand out (unread) since they relate to a future date. Otherwise they look like all the other read messages and get "lost in the crowd"
    Thanks

Why is it that there is a limit of only four patients that can be up on the search bar? After four, you have to delete each one in order to search for another patient. Having a list of patients to bring up in order to do charting makes this limitation a little annoying. We can have many (maybe limitless) patient charts up at a time, but only four in a search bar.

If I ask, "Please list previous surgeries you have had", there should be a way to make this easy for patients to enter, but also allow the patient to specify the answer. So I suggest being able to create 2 different answer functions in one question. For example, a drop down list of common surgeries, but then a single line text box next to the each option so the patient can qualify the answer.

If I list, knee replacement, hip replacement, gallbladder, etc., the patient should have the ability to type in a date next to the answer or type in "right" or "left". This ability would help in many areas of the patient registration.

Having to add another text box under the main question to accomplish this makes the length of the intake form too long and too confusing.

So having the ability to design a question with 2 functions, eg. checklist AND text response within the same question, would save everyone time by not having to ask lots of follow up questions.

Hi everyone. We released a beta version of a native Android EHR app in 2015. Due to very few downloads and utilization, we have decided to discontinue it and remove it from the app store.

Why does this say "In Progress"? Isn't the app completed? I just installed it. I can see my schedule! People should be freaking out! This is amazing! Given all the stressful things I had to deal with today, I can't believe I can say that it's Practice Fusion that made finishing up the day, with me looking on the bright side.
I thought I'd get an urgent e-mail about this. I just happened to see the feature on the side bar. This is big news. Shout it from the roof tops. I've been waiting for more than 2 years for this!
Yes, the sizing for phone viewing could be improved and yes, it would be nice to have a Google calendar/Outlook integration, but this is a huge step. Thank you Pract. Fusion. It's a rare day that something about an EMR gets me feeling better.
What a pleasure, feeling like I'm in line with the rest of the world, being able to see my schedule when I'm on the go.

Now this is some good news! Way to go P.F. It's been about two years, but looking forward to some upgraded template functionality.

Not being able to see the blocked times on a printed schedule has been very frustrating and has necessitated that we avoid using this feature. We have had to add the doctor as a patient and now schedule all the doctor's meetings, office staff meetings, and all other time out of the office, as a patient appointment.
Instituting Jessica's idea above, would allow us to use the blocked time feature as it should be used.

For security and regulatory purposes, the Practice Fusion EHR will auto-lock and require password to be unlocked after a period of idle time. Currently, this timer is set to 15 minutes because certain states require the time to be 15 minutes at minimum. We are investigating ways to improve this security feature, which may include customization in the future.

If each state is different, then at least allow those users in the states that allow a longer log out interval to have it.
Then again, I've never understood this concept in the first place. Aren't there parameters and features in the this EHR that can get the user in trouble if misused and the Practice Fusion Administration has no control over? The log out feature should be something that the user sets. If there's a HIPAA infraction, doesn't the responsibility fall on the user?

We are still not able to see the blocked time in the printed schedule. How can the printed schedule reflect the blocked time and the appointments toegther?

We should be able to delete diagnoses from this list. Some diagnoses are entered corresponding to the patient's chronic diagnoses, but have no place in the "Frequent" diagnosis list. It would be much more helpful if this list was a list of diagnoses that is used on a regular basis as opposed to a list of ANY and ALL diagnoses that get entered in the EMR.
