Hi everyone – As of 1/24/2017, we have released the new Appointment Report to all practices. This report allows practices to review and filter appointments by facility, status, provider, and date, making it easier to track cancellations, no shows, and other scheduling details.
You can read more about the new Appointment Report here:

This is basic oversight for any practice and a needed component for reporting. Breaking out appointments by type should be easy to program and it needed to see what our practice makeup is and where improvement or focus of attention needs to be

As of 12/14/2015, copay is now displayed as a column in the Scheduler.
You can read more about how to track copays here: http://knowledgebase.practicefusion.com/knowledgebase/articles/761493-how-can-i-track-copays-in-the-schedule

It is a good feature but it needs work. There is a section that you can enter notes in but the data entered in the note section of the receipt does not show when you print it and this is the only place to put an authorization number from a credit card payment.
Also we need to run a report on money received daily broke out by payment type and this is not an option -

This is so needed as well as an alert to say this is a duplicate patient so you dont create one in the first place.

Thanks to everyone for providing your thoughts on how inactive patients should be displayed in Practice Fusion.
As of 03/25/2016, to reduce confusion when working with patient lists, we have made it more obvious in the main Charts section when a patient is inactive.
You will see the words “Inactive” in the patient list as well as the patient header when you are working with an inactive patient.
Additionally, if a patient is marked as inactive, she or he will not appear in search results for appointments, messages, labs, or refills. If you would like a patient to appear in those search results for selection, you’ll need to mark the patient as Active.

This is a continual issue of making appointments and visits notes on the wrong chart. We really need this differential in place

In the event the brand is required, I can see this being helpful but that is seldom the case. The script automatically says that they can substitute the generic which is the law in WV. It requires generic substitution unless otherwise stated. Although the message says prescription was not sent because a prior authorization was needed; this is not accurate. E-scribe has already sent the prescription which is why we know prior authorization is not needed in almost all situations as they automatically fill it using the generic without us having to do anything.
That is why we want the ability to turn this feature off. This law may be different in other states so the feature may be useful to others.Dee Scritchfield supported this idea ·

I understand this was made to enhance our work flow but it has merely created additional work for us to clear these from the tasks. We never have this many calls from pharmacies for prior authorization.

As you have probably noticed, you can now manage multiple vital signs, including additional blood pressures for the same encounter, by adding rows and columns to the flowsheet.

PQRS is what I am working on and looking at a payer of over 300 on a list and not being able print is not feasible because as soon as you link into the patient, you loose the report and have to start over
Practice management and oversight requires that you run a report by the payer mix of a specific provider. We have 15 providers and not being able to look at individual providers is a real barrier
