PF is really coming along ! I can't emphasize how useful it would be for me and my staff to display patient's insurance name (just the company name) in a few places :
    * chart search list (perhaps under the pt's Last Name)
    * the Patient Header in the chart (next to phone number?)
    * Documents list (next to name)
    * Tasks lists , eg Lab Results

A patient's insurance determines many things about his/her healthcare : tests that can or can't be ordered, allowed referrals to specialists, frequency allowed for return visits, etc. Therefore it should be on display throughout PF, not just "hidden" in the Profile tab.

Hi everyone – As of 1/19/2017, we have introduced a new schedule setting to all practices that allows administrators to determine if encounters will be auto-generated for appointments marked as cancelled or no-show.

You can read more about schedule settings here: http://knowledgebase.practicefusion.com/knowledgebase/articles/482832

We have also introduced a new Appointment Report that allows practices to review and filter appointments by facility, status, provider, and date, making it easier to track cancellations, no shows, and other scheduling details.

You can read more about the new Appointment Report here:

    Great suggestion.

We would like to hear from others how they’d like to see this scheduler grid be enhanced and improved.

Absolutely! In fact, things like Lab Results, Imaging Results, and Documents (which often include a collection of faxed test results, specialist notes, etc.) should be much easier to get to. You could add tabs next to the Profile Tab for each of these, and once one of them is selected (i.e. a result is opened), a list of the dates of the other Labs (or Image Results or whatever is pertinent to the currently open document) should be shown and selectable. If only dates are shown, the space needed is minimal, and this would allow us to quickly go through a series of results with much less clicking and waiting !

The patient's insurance is not shown in the blue header area in an open chart. It should be , with at least the insurance company name indicated next to the patient's date-of-birth. This is very important because a patient's insurance company determines where we can send them for tests, specialists, etc. Having to go to Profile and scroll down is very inefficient for such a critical piece of information. There is plenty of screen-space in the blue header, so the company name and even the insurance ID # could be shown there. As others have pointed out, it would also be very useful to display insurance info in the scheduler - in the small pop-up box (which also has a blue header area for patient info) , and in the Appointments tab. It should be shown on all of the print-out "views" in the Appointments tab.
