For security and regulatory purposes, the Practice Fusion EHR will auto-lock and require password to be unlocked after a period of idle time. Currently, this timer is set to 15 minutes because certain states require the time to be 15 minutes at minimum. We are investigating ways to improve this security feature, which may include customization in the future.

As of 12/14/2015, you can now mark a patient’s appointment as confirmed on the scheduler.
There is a great knowledge base article that explains this here: http://knowledgebase.practicefusion.com/knowledgebase/articles/773469-how-do-i-update-an-appointment-s-confirmation-stat

Hi Rachel—thanks for this idea. We’ve heard from many of our practices that they would like this customization feature.
Currently, when a patient is marked as Arrived, a SOAP note is automatically created. We do this for a number of reasons, but it is clearly not a necessity for many practices. We are considering making this a practice-wide or provider-specific setting for Arriving new patients.

I would suggest a similar type of pop-up like the one that says "template saved", but maybe with different shape and color.
