when we look at the appts list for a specific day under the appointment tab, you could have a new column on the far right that listed the next scheduled upcoming appt if the pt has more than one scheduled.....
and if we are actively scheduling that pt and have the appt box open, there could be a button that indicates pt has another appt scheduled and if you click it, it opens THAT appt box as well (so we can see the date/time as well as the chief complaint to know why it was already scheduled)....then decide what to do with both appts! would be awesome!
this would be SO helpful in our efficiency....
Place a list of upcoming appointments to the right side of the box that automatically pulls up while you are setting the appt. Dont forget to make sure we can read the CC for each of them so we can tell what the future appts are actually for, as well. Save us some hunting! As mentioned below in another comment, we need to know when last wellness visit was or if she is already scheduled for one, etc. Or pt may be scheduled for a lab visit but also needs an appointment visit later, etc.
As of 8/20/2015, we are excited to announce that we have deployed Flowsheets and a massive expansion of the types of vital signs that can be entered and viewed longitudinally for patients in the EHR.
You can read about flowsheets and vital sign expansion here: http://knowledgebase.practicefusion.com/knowledgebase/articles/515826-how-do-i-use-flowsheets
At this time, we are creating a note ( we created our own type "flowsheet"), titling it "Abnormal pap flowsheet", then we created a template that fills in the categories across the top that we use (ie: date, test, result, follow up). Then we fill in below that line for each entry, save the form but DO NOT SIGN if we want to keep all entries on that page, and if we sign it, we just add addendum each time, which was just below the main note before, but still shows a flow progression.
Will be happy to see what your flowsheets look like. I cannot imagine making one for EVERY use ever needed by any office. Consider a template with categories to fill in that can be added to in a fashion that allows easy viewing.....
As many of you know, we have deployed the ability for faxes to flow into Practice Fusion from Updox. This method of document publishing may be a positive alternative to scanning of documents.
We will leave this idea as “Acknowledged” for now.
To sign up for this service, please fill in the Updox form here http://info.updox.com/updox-practicefusion/ to create your Updox account or call an Updox representative at (614) 798-8170 ext. 1 to begin the process.

If this were possible, it would improve HIPPA risks as any computer used to upload documents has to be cleaned at multiple levels to insure no patient PHI is there, by way of documents scanned in and deleted yet waiting in the trash bin to be completely removed.....
Hi everyone—quick update here. We have implemented the feature where previous prescription values will populate re-prescriptions for the same med. You can read more about it here: http://knowledgebase.practicefusion.com/knowledgebase/articles/484230-how-do-i-send-an-erx-e-prescription
Please let us pre-populate a pharmacy before we even have to prescribe. It would save time if our assistants can change a patient pharmacy list/add, etc. as they update patient info. And as the patient updates their other info (address/phone, etc) they could also add pharmacy on the patient portal....
Yes, may need to allow permissions to sign off documents that were scanned in. As a physician, I will receive a paper copy of a lab result, sign it off, and then when it is scanned in by my assistant, I have to resign again in EMR. It would be nice if they could sign a scanned doc that I have already signed in pen, just so I dont have to sign twice.
Also, when we are converting old paper patient charts, this would be nice, as we are scanning in the papers as documents and that is a lot of signing and the assistant could do that as she scans them in.
I am happy to report that this has been added to the EHR for our customers as of 5/29/2015. Thanks everyone for your patience as we resolved this.

You asked and we listened: Use Pinned notes to manage non-clinical reminders
Practice Fusion continues to take major steps toward updating your EHR with even more features and enhanced workflows. With Practice Fusion’s Pinned Note feature, we have made it easier for practice staff to quickly view pertinent custom details about patients before they are scheduled, before check in, or during a patient visit. A Pinned Note is the ideal place to record non-clinical information specific to an individual patient, where you can have important information readily available. Thanks you to everyone who voted and helped make the Practice Fusion EHR better for everyone. https://knowledgebase.practicefusion.com/knowledgebase/articles/1845769
