    All documents should be able to be attached to the encounter and be visible on the main screen in chart.

    As many of you know, we have deployed the ability for faxes to flow into Practice Fusion from Updox. This method of document publishing may be a positive alternative to scanning of documents.

    We will leave this idea as “Acknowledged” for now.

    Hi everyone – As of 1/19/2017, we have introduced a new schedule setting to all practices that allows administrators to determine if encounters will be auto-generated for appointments marked as cancelled or no-show.

    We have also introduced a new Appointment Report that allows practices to review and filter appointments by facility, status, provider, and date, making it easier to track cancellations, no shows, and other scheduling details.

    We would like to be able to add more than one reading for orthostatic BP's but need the additional properties like lying, sitting, standing, etc to be visible without having to click on each reading. Being able to create a flowsheet with different rows for each of these would be helpful

    Messages initiated by patients do not include any patient information except name. We have many patient with the same first and last name and have no way of knowing which patient sent the message. We then have to call all of the patients with this name until we find out who sent the message. This is also a problem when sending a message out. If more than one patient with the same name has activated their patient fusion account there is no way to tell which one to choose to send the message through.

    Thanks to everyone for providing your thoughts on how inactive patients should be displayed in Practice Fusion.

    As of 03/25/2016, to reduce confusion when working with patient lists, we have made it more obvious in the main Charts section when a patient is inactive.

    You will see the words “Inactive” in the patient list as well as the patient header when you are working with an inactive patient.

    Additionally, if a patient is marked as inactive, she or he will not appear in search results for appointments, messages, labs, or refills. If you would like a patient to appear in those search results for selection, you’ll need to mark the patient as Active.

    This is causing a lot of issues with our patients. We need to have inactive patients be inactive in all phases of charting
