Hello everyone – as of 12/5/17, ICD-9 codes have been removed from the diagnosis display in the patient Summary, encounter note, and superbill. Additionally, ICD-9 codes are hidden when viewing individual diagnosis details, though you can always expand the details to view mapped codes if needed. While you are still able to search by ICD-9 code, search results will return only the diagnosis description and ICD-10 code.

Please note that this request is considered partially resolved as ICD-9 codes will continue to transfer over from the superbill to integrated billing systems for the time being.

As of September 2015, customers are able to modify the size of the text when editing sections of the chart note.

You can read more about rich text editing and how to change the font size here: http://knowledgebase.practicefusion.com/knowledgebase/articles/548442-how-do-i-use-rich-text-editing-when-charting-my-en

If you are interested in increasing the readable font size generally throughout any section of the EHR, you can learn how to do that here: http://knowledgebase.practicefusion.com/knowledgebase/articles/554913-how-do-i-adjust-the-font-size-in-my-browser

In the process, however, I notice that you can no longer distinguish between bold face font and typical font...they are very close in appearance now, and no longer show up at all on the chart notes that you fax with a referral. Hoping to find out how to make the bold MORE BOLD, and to keep it formatted that way for referral of chart notes.

    Hi everyone,

Good news! As of 9/28/17 you can now add a prefix and/or suffix to the patient Profile page.

We will keep this feature request as partially resolved as we have not yet implemented the ability to search for patients by preferred name.

This is a key idea and should be at the top of the list...both accessible as printed out for those patients that aren't tech-savvy, and accessible via tablet for those that are.

This is a very important feature, could be "one-click" to generate a CMS/HCFA-1500 form...with or without form such that you can print it out black/white OR just print the actual data onto a hard/red certified form as some insurance companies still require this.

    Dr Carol Nason commented  ·

This should be considered a key feature since the information is already entered into the PF chart, it just needs to be aligned for printing onto the required red HCFA-1500 form. I still have 3 insurance companies that require it, and scrolling a HCFA into a typewriter in this day and age of EHR and word processing seems antiquated and inefficient.

Great suggestion. We are also considering other more advanced filtering ability for the Patient Timeline.
