In order to optimize your experience with Practice Fusion, we are working on a solution to have Screenings/Interventions/Assessments viewable in the Patient Summary. Stay tuned to see when this feature will be available.

Hi everyone – As of 1/19/2017, we have introduced a new schedule setting to all practices that allows administrators to determine if encounters will be auto-generated for appointments marked as cancelled or no-show.
You can read more about schedule settings here: http://knowledgebase.practicefusion.com/knowledgebase/articles/482832
We have also introduced a new Appointment Report that allows practices to review and filter appointments by facility, status, provider, and date, making it easier to track cancellations, no shows, and other scheduling details.
You can read more about the new Appointment Report here:

Hi everyone—as you’ve all noticed, we reintroduced the medication list into the chart note. You’ll also be able to see duplicates and previous prescriptions easier, as of December 2015.

As many of you know, we have deployed the ability for faxes to flow into Practice Fusion from Updox. This method of document publishing may be a positive alternative to scanning of documents.
We will leave this idea as “Acknowledged” for now.

You asked and we listened: Use Pinned notes to manage non-clinical reminders
Practice Fusion continues to take major steps toward updating your EHR with even more features and enhanced workflows. With Practice Fusion’s Pinned Note feature, we have made it easier for practice staff to quickly view pertinent custom details about patients before they are scheduled, before check in, or during a patient visit. A Pinned Note is the ideal place to record non-clinical information specific to an individual patient, where you can have important information readily available. Thanks you to everyone who voted and helped make the Practice Fusion EHR better for everyone. https://knowledgebase.practicefusion.com/knowledgebase/articles/1845769Anonymous supported this idea ·

We should be able to add items under SIA at any time not only during the office visit. Most screenings like Mammograms and colonoscopies are done outside of internal medicine offices and results are received later. Leaving the encounter unsigned until we receive the results, sometimes months later, is not safe because the encounter can be deleted by mistake and the provider will loose his or her documentation. Also it would be nice to have the SIA displayed in the chart's summary to show all the screenings the patient received from the main page instead of opening an encounter to get this info.
