Good news! As of 9/28/17 you can now add a prefix and/or suffix to the patient Profile page.
We will keep this feature request as partially resolved as we have not yet implemented the ability to search for patients by preferred name.Ms Nycole Gonsalves commented
The preferred name is there in the profile but if a patient has a preferred name entered the patient still comes up with their given name instead of their preferred name. Need a check box to ensure the preferred name shows up instead of the given name.

As of 12/14/2015, you can now mark a patient’s appointment as confirmed on the scheduler.

Practice have full control over and it would also be nice to allow the patients an option to text back or email back that they are confirmed and it shows up on our schedule.
As many of you know, we have deployed the ability for faxes to flow into Practice Fusion from Updox. This method of document publishing may be a positive alternative to scanning of documents.

You asked and we listened: Use Pinned notes to manage non-clinical reminders
Practice Fusion continues to take major steps toward updating your EHR with even more features and enhanced workflows. With Practice Fusion’s Pinned Note feature, we have made it easier for practice staff to quickly view pertinent custom details about patients before they are scheduled, before check in, or during a patient visit. A Pinned Note is the ideal place to record non-clinical information specific to an individual patient, where you can have important information readily available.
